The first home league game of the season on Saturday, 15th September, promises to be a great spectacle of amateur rugby, played between two very competitive local teams. Staines RFC 1st XV v Thamesians RFC 1st XV, will be written into the history books for the first time, and not surprisingly, Thamesians are bringing their supporters in great store, a number of who are looking for a sit-down Pre-Match Supporters Lunch before the game.

To welcome and accommodate such supporters, we are trying to get numbers together to get the lunch off the ground

Obviously, numbers of people attending the lunch will prove whether it will be viable or not, 50 being an appropriate number to deal with. Thamesians have between 20 and 30 supporters who will be attending the lunch. The big ask is, can Staines match that number of supporters???

The cost of the lunch will be between £15 and £20 per person.

I know this notification is a bit late in the offering but I sincerely hope that between us we can make this a very successful day, with the 1st Team and the Club looking forward to your support.
