Cobs

Out of the gate, the Cobs looked a little bit like startled rabbits. And it was Quintin who went over in the first 5 min's, only for the Ref to disallow, due to another player pushing Jose out of the way. This spurred the Cobs on, but unfortunately Quintin surged again and scored close to the post, a conversion followed. The Cobs regrouped and started to play the lines that had been practised at training and Jake O'Leary burst through Quintin's line to put James Knill through for his first try of the season. A conversion by James followed. 7 - 7.
Jake and James linked up again later in the half for James to dot the ball over the line and them convert his try. 14 - 7.
Ollie Luxon rounded of the half with a great try in the corner, James failed to convert.
19 - 7 to the Cobs.

The second half gets a bit blurry from here, as players came off with injures and fatigue. And new players on.

The game went back and forward with Quintin making some good breaks, but the Cobs back line kept chasing and taking them down.
Then out of a ruck young Andrew Elam got hold of the ball and from the half way line bobbed and weaved and found himself over the try line (which got him Man of the Match), James Knill converted.
Late in the half the Cobs team started to move the ball around and move up the pitch. With great support from Ben Luxon and Steff Svard, Jake O'Leary went over for the final try, which he converted himself.

Final score Cobs 33 - 7 Quintin
