It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of beloved committee member and Vice President Angela Channon, who left us peacefully on Sunday 7th December, surrounded by her family.

Angie was more than a dedicated volunteer — she was a cornerstone of Staines Rugby Club. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering passion for our community touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. The impact she made will be felt for many years to come.

A service to celebrate Angie’s life will be held on Monday 22nd December from 2pm at Hanworth Crematorium, followed by the wake at Staines Rugby Club, where we will gather to honour her memory.

In tribute to her vibrant spirit, family and friends are encouraged to wear colour on the day.

Angie especially loved red, and wearing it will be a beautiful way to celebrate her.

Our love and thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.
