Geoff was originally a member of Ashford Rugby Club along with his brother Ted but after the war and in 1946, the Club merged with Staines and Geoff has been a life long member ever since. Until a year or so back he attended the Club on a Saturday afternoon until his Parkinson’s disease became worse and he had to go into a care home as his wife Freda could no longer care for him.

We will raise a glass to him at tonight’s vets game to his memory and dedicate our minutes silence to him
